At BarewithNel Waxing Studio, we value your time and appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth and efficient booking experience for all our clients. To provide you with the best service possible, we ask that you adhere to our late and cancellation policies as follows:

Late Arrivals

We ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow for check-in and preparation.
There is a 10 minute LATE GRACE PERIOD (10+ mins. is considered a NO SHOW). If you think you’ll be later than 10 mins please contact us ASAP, we still may be able to accommodate you. We may have to adjust the duration of your service to accommodate other clients, and you will still be responsible for the full service cost.
If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be considered a no-show and canceled at our discretion. In this case, a no-show fee of 50% of the scheduled service price will be charged.

Cancellations and Rescheduling:

We understand that schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled time.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within less than 24 hours of your appointment time will incur a late cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service price.

No-Show Policy:

Clients who do not show up for their scheduled appointment without prior notice will be considered a no-show.
No-shows will be charged the full price of the missed service.
Repeat no-shows may result in a refusal of future bookings or require prepayment for future appointments.

Nel is a licensed esthetician with a passion for skin care and wellness. After graduating from the Esthetics Institute in Virginia, she started her esthetics journey into the world of body waxing; her mission to help others achieve their best glow.

When she's not working her magic at BarewithNel, you can find her volunteering with senior adults, spending time with family, or seeing the world.

Q: What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

A: Please arrive with clean, dry skin. Avoid applying lotions, oils, or any other products on the area to be waxed. For Brazilian or intimate area waxing, please ensure you are wearing comfortable clothing for after your appointment.

Q: How long should my hair be for waxing?

A: Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long (approximately the length of a grain of rice) for best results. If your hair is too short, we may not be able to effectively remove it.

Q: What if I have a skin condition or am taking medication?

A: If you have any skin conditions or are taking medications that may affect your skin (e.g., Retin-A, Accutane), please inform us before your appointment, to receive a consultation. Certain conditions and medications can make your skin more sensitive, and we may need to reschedule your service.

Q: How often should I get waxed?

A: We recommend getting waxed every 4-6 weeks for optimal results. Regular waxing can lead to thinner and less dense hair regrowth.

Q: Can I bring my child or another guest with me?

A: For safety and sanitary reasons, children and additional guests are not allowed in the treatment room during your service. We ask that you arrange for childcare prior to your appointment.

Q: What if I am unhappy with my service?

A: Your satisfaction is our priority. We want to see you "glow". If you are not happy with the outcome of your service, please contact us within 24 hours, and we will do our best to address your concerns. Note that refunds are at the discretion of management.
